This annual event is a much-anticipated gathering that offers a safe, enjoyable, and educational experience for all participants. Vibrant Cycling Event in Downtown Markham
Located in Downtown Markham (10 Aviva Way, Downtown Markham), this event attracted cycling enthusiasts of all ages. This year featured exciting group rides known as Tour de Markham, which offered three different routes catering to varying levels of cycling abilities.
Participants could choose from the family-friendly 12KM, 30KM or 60KM routes to explore different parts of the vibrant city of Markham. Also, the popular Children's Races allows kids age 3-10 to engage in friendly races at the event site.
At the event, Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of community engagement and the positive impact of cycling on health. His words resonated with the participants, further enhancing the significance of Markham Cycling Day.
